week on Afterglow we'll celebrate the centenary of
vibraphonist Lionel Hampton with a program that includes
selections from a new Mosaic Records anthology of his late-1930s
small-group recordings. Music from Dianne Reeves’ new
CD When You Know will be featured as well.
Afterglow airs every Friday evening at 10:05 p.m.
