Volunteers and interns provide a valuable contribution to WFIU's on-going mission and daily operations. The following positions require dedication and a reliable time commitment. Some computer ability is preferable. The station will train all positions. Volunteers are chosen based on experience, interviews are required.
NOTE: Very little volunteer and intern work at the station involves announcing (DJing). If you are interested in having your own radio show, contact WFHB Community Radio or WIUX Student Radio.
OFFICE PHONE ANSWERER POOL
- 3 hours a week
- 6 month minimum commitment
- Qualifications: Positive and professional attitude and good organizational skills required.
WEB AND NEW MEDIA
- Hours based on current projects
- Minimum commitments vary
- Qualifications: Basic HTML and CSS skills, interested in emerging technologies
