National Cover the Uninsured Week
This week on Noon Edition, well observe
National Cover the Uninsured Week." In the first
part of the program, we'll talk with Indiana Family and
Social Services Administration Secretary Mitch Roob about
the Healthy Indiana plan. The 4-month-old program offers
low-cost health insurance to a limited number of low-income
Hoosiers. In the second half of the show, Dr. Rob Stone
will join us in the studio to talk about the 47 million
Americans going without health insurance, and what he thinks
should be done to help them. You can join the program by
phone or e-mail. Noon Edition airs Friday afternoon
at 12:06 on WFIU.
