Jenny Kander
Host, The Poets Weave

Jenny Kander hosts The Poets Weave, a weekly five-minute program of poetry reading, which airs Sundays at 11:46 a.m. A native of South Africa, Jenny came to Bloomington in 1992. She is an active member of the local poetry scene as a published poet and a member of the Bloomington Free Verse Poets, among other accomplishments.

Recently Jenny compiled and edited two local poetry anthologies, published by Wind (Lexington, Kentucky) -- The Linen Weave of Bloomington Poets and Celebrating Seventy. In 2004, Finishing Line Press published her chapbook Taboo, and she is currently co-editing two more poetry anthologies.
