WFIU-FM is listener-supported radio. The support of our contributing members helps us bring quality programs like Morning Edition, All Things Considered, Car Talk and your other favorites to the radio waves. Member dollars also support our many local programs and services.

The health of programs you love and enjoy lies in your willingness to support them with financial contributions. This year, over 20% of our annual budget will come from contributing listeners who rely on WFIU programming every day. We depend on Indiana University, state and federal dollars to fund our facility, equipment, and personnel. But we turn to listeners like you to fund programs that address listener needs and reflect the beauty and intelligence of our communities. It’s a strong partnership, and it works!

It’s easy to support your favorite programs by joining on-line! We offer the same Membership thank you gifts on-line as when you call in your pledge–but here you can select a gift at your convenience.

All members ($40 or more) receive a year’s subscription to Directions in Sound, WFIU’s monthly program guide. Directions in Sound features complete listings for WFIU, program highlights, stories and photos of your favorite public radio personalities, inside information on what’s happening at the station and more! At the $75 membership level or higher, you’re also eligible to receive the WFIU MemberCard. The MemberCard can be used for "two for the price of one" dining at more than 60 participating restaurants in our viewing area, and thousands more throughout Indiana, the United States, even Canada. And this year, we’re introducing a special Benefit of the Month. Every month, we’ll announce a new arts or entertainment attraction where you can purchase one ticket and get the second one free!
